Hi there.
My name is Diogo Teixeira and I´m 20 years old. I was born in Porto, Portugal and I’m currently living in a town called Ermesinde. At the moment, I’m studying Languages and Foreign Cultures in a college in Porto by the name of Escola Superior de Educação. I chose this course because, since I can remember I’ve always had a passion for languages. I believe they are very important, not only for social and cultural purposes but for economic purposes as well. On the other hand, I chose this course because I love to travel, and as a consequence of that, I will need to speak more than one or two languages to be able to understand and comprehend the cultural values of other countries.
As for my interests and hobbies, I like to go swimming as often as I can. I like watching movies and series, particularly drama ones, I love those.And I love listening music. My all-time favourite bands are Pink Floyd, Metallica, Mastodon and Opeth. In fact, I love music so much, that I created a band a couple of years ago with some friends and we are very close to recording our first demo! We play many different styles of music, but we focus more on progressive rock and metal.
